Donation Details
Making a car donation to Autos for Arc is very convenient. You can drive up and
drop off during store hours or call us toll free for a free pickup
1-877-778-7709 and one of our friendly operators will assist you. Once we have
your information, vehicles are picked up usually within 24-72 hours. Here are
some additional details:

Donate cars and trucks any age and any condition.

Donate the following vehicles in operating condition: motorcycles, RVs, ATVs,
snowmobiles, personal watercraft, boats with trailers, golf carts and other
vehicles.

Your vehicle must be unencumbered by a lien. The title must be in the donor’s
name.

Drive up and drop off your vehicle at any of our Arc’s Value Village Thrift
Stores (Brooklyn Center, New Hope, Richfield and St. Paul) during store hours
or call our toll free hotline for a free pickup: 1-877-778-7709. Store hours:
Monday-Friday 9 am – 9 pm, Saturday and Sunday 9 am – 7 pm.

Autos for Arc will send you a letter of acknowledgement about one week after
you have donated your vehicle.

Within 30 days following the sale of your vehicle, Autos for Arc will send you
a letter documenting the sales price for tax purposes.

Within a few weeks of your car donation (or other vehicle) being sold, Autos
for Arc will send you a receipt that will give you a $500 tax deduction you can
use on your taxes. If we sell your car for more than $500, the receipt will
indicate that. For more information regarding taxes, consult your tax adviser
or go to the IRS web site.

Autos for Arc is part of Arc Greater Twin Cities, a 501(c)(3) non-profit and
meets all standards as set by the Charities Review Council.
