What we accept:

Autos for Arc now accepts cars and trucks of any year and any condition.

Autos for Arc also accepts the following vehicles in operating condition:
  • Boats (with trailers)
  • RVs
  • ATVs
  • Golf carts
  • Personal watercraft
  • Motorcycles
  • Snowmobiles
  • other vehicles in running condition.

Prepare your vehicle:
  • Collect your title.
  • Remove your personal belongings.
  • Call us if you have questions: 612-866-8820. Our Autos for Arc hours are 8:30 am to 8:30 pm Monday through Friday, and from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm on Saturdays. If you call after hours, leave a message and we will get back to you within two business days. If you have contacted us through our website, a representative will respond within two business days.

Drive up and drop off:

Autos for Arc will arrange to have your vehicle towed free of charge if you prefer. Please call our hotline to arrange a pickup: 612-866-8820.

Bring your keys and title to one of our convenient drop-off sites, no appointment necessary. Park your vehicle and stop inside the store to have a store representative take your keys and title. You will receive a receipt when you drop off your vehicle. In approximately one week, you will also receive a formal letter of acknowledgement. Within 30 days following the sale of your vehicle you will receive a letter documenting the sales price for tax purposes.

Why donate?

All vehicles are sold at auction. The proceeds help Arc Greater Twin Cities (the largest local grassroots, non-profit for people with developmental disabilities) provide advocacy and support for people with mental retardation, Down syndrome, Autism, and other developmental disabilities and their families. Arc has been serving people since 1946 and is committed to helping people with disabilities lead successful lives. Arc can assist with assessment and diagnosis, education, medical assistance, making the transition to adulthood, jobs and housing, guardianship, lifetime planning and much more.
